The Trump administration is using federal resources and agencies to suppress free speech and punish critics. Members of Congress, universities, broadcast networks, journalists, law firms, and protestors have all been targeted based on the exercise of their speech and press freedoms. This presentation will detail specific cases and the ways that courts are serving to preserve the rule of law and uphold the five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment.
Attorney Greg Sullivan is a founding member of the Loeb School and serves as the president of the New England First Amendment Coalition. He has successfully argued numerous First Amendment and right to know cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston
