Greetings and Happy Autumn.

I have two things to share:

  1. Our 17th Annual Nackey S. Loeb First Amendment Awards Event is Nov. 19 at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. It’s an evening to honor the First Amendment and a courageous First Amendment Award recipient who used it to help save the lives of veterans. The event also raises money so the school can continue offering free classes and inexpensive workshops.

The First Amendment Recipient is the late Dr. Ed Kois, the VA Medical Center doctor who went public with poor conditions and treatment there, prompting a national review of VA facilities. Dr. Kois died during the summer. His wife, Pamela Greenley, will accept the award on his behalf.

The guest speaker is Trish Regan of Trish Regan Primetime on the Fox Business Network.

Tickets:

$50 for the event alone – 7 pm

$100 for the event and a pre-event reception – 5:45

You can get them here

  1. Our 2020 classes and workshops are posted on our new website: loebschool.org It is nice to see that so many people already have registered for 2020 offerings, including a new class in the Jan-Feb session – Podcasting: Producing and Listening.

Thanks
