The Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications honors its First Amendment Awards recipients at an awards banquet at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester. Along with being a major fundraiser for the school to fund classes, workshops and other programs, a nationally known speaker addresses First Amendment issues. An audience of about 400 is common with people coming in from all over the Granite State. They include business executives, directors of non-profit organizations, state representatives, congressmen, mayors, attorneys, college professors, high school teachers, and others who have a vested interest in the First Amendment and how it is supported in New Hampshire.
