Students will learn from New Hampshire reporters, editors, photographers and layout/design experts how to research, gather and report news; how to take photos that help tell the story; and how to put it all together on a page. Attorney Gregory Sullivan will teach students the rights and responsibilities of journalists with regards to the First Amendment and media rights. Students will receive instruction in the morning, cover a newsmaker at lunch and produce stories, photos and finished pages in the afternoon — on deadline.

This free workshop will be held at Oyster River High School with the NH Press Association. Call 627-0005 or write loebschool@loebschool.org/ for information.
