Loeb School Presents Nature Photography Workshop
MANCHESTER – Witness the wonders of a New Hampshire autumn through your camera with award-winning photographer Geoff Forester.
The Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications is offering a one-day workshop, Nature Photography, on October 19 at the school in Manchester.
Geoff will review techniques to make meaningful and inspiring photos of nature, with an emphasis on how they can be used by the casual photographer. Participants will travel to the nearby Audubon Center and Massabesic Lake to take photos, then return to the school to display and edit images. Students should bring digital cameras and wear comfortable clothing for the outing. Sophisticated camera equipment is not needed, but a SLR camera is preferred.
Geoff Forester is photo editor at the Concord Monitor and has been a photographer for more than 30 years, winning awards at the Monitor and at the Boston Globe. He also owned his own photography business in Concord.
The workshop runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm on October 19. The $60 registration includes lunch. Register at www.loebschool.org or by calling 627-0005.
